Kristopher Keating began his ministry career in 1996 when, following a short-term mission trip, he moved to Chihuahua, Mexico to work for a non-denominational Christian church and school. While living and working in Mexico, Kristopher met and married his wife Gloria. In 1999 The Keatings relocated to Kristopher’s hometown of Bristol, CT. In 2000, they founded Hillside Missions Organization; the international ministry of Hillside Community Church. In June of 2009, Hillside Missions Organization relocated its headquarters to Richmond, VA in order to pursue broader collaboration with international and multicultural outreach organizations. As the Director of Hillside Missions, Kristopher supervises the training, sending, pastoral care and administration of sustainable aid and missions work in a number of countries Kristopher still personally leads many short-term group trips to unreached people groups areas around the world. In July of 2007, he participated as one of a six-member Christian Leadership delegation to Baghdad, Iraq. As a member of this historic delegation, Mr. Keating met with Prime Minister Nouri al Maliki in order to discuss issues facing the Christian communities of Iraq. The expected outcome of the positively successful meetings is to inspire a process of reconciliation by building relational bridges between Muslim and Christian communities. The organization is currently developing a cultural exchange program which will invite elementary school children from Baghdad to spend two weeks in the United States. Kristopher has degrees in Organizational Leadership and Drug and Alcohol Recovery Counseling. He also completed accredited ministerial training through Global University/Assemblies of God. Terry Mahoney grew up on the Jersey shore in the late 50’s and early 60’s. At the age of fifteen, after hearing Arthur Katz give his life story, Terry answered the call to ask Jesus into his life. This began a lifelong commitment to serve Christ in whatever way he could. After Graduating from North Central University in Minneapolis, MN with a degree in Pastoral Studies and Behavior Science, he moved to southern Florida to be near his family in early 1980. After working with several ministries within New Covenant Church in Pompano Beach, Florida, he moved in October 1981 to help his brother, Rev. Patrick Mahoney and Rev. Joseph Jakum plant a church in Bristol, CT. For the next 28 years he worked and ministered in numerous ways at Hillside Community Church, from elder to home group leader to children’s church worker and just about everything in between. In 2004 he began to become more involved with the missions ministry at church. After three trips to Afghanistan and several trips to Mexico, God began to lead his life in new direction. In late 2008, the decision was made to work full time with Hillside Missions Organization. At the same time, God was leading the organization in a new direction, drawing the ministry out of one local body in Bristol, CT and into Richmond, VA to work with the body of Christ on a larger scale.

He strongly dislikes milk, beaches, the New York Yankees, and headaches. Jon loves to receive email, Facebook notifications, and money, so feel free to send any of the three his way.

Tim and Betsey Kennedy beget Rob Kennedy. Who is Rob Kennedy…? Rob entered into this world April 8, 1992 in Ellsworth Maine. From there he migrated south to Massachusetts then north once more to New Hampshire. In New Hampshire he tackled an adventure called High School. High School is normally a relatively easy task but for Rob it was different. This high school had four thousand students and was centered on career training. He started college course engineering programs in his second year and excelled. In the last year all the plans he had made blew sky high and crashed down in flames. He made it through High School but was left with no further task and felt lost. He went out in search of guidance and found the answer. At a weekend training conference he found and confirmed the next task in his life. He was to be a servant to the highest ruler in the universe. God was calling him to personally serve in his courts. This was a high honor. Rob met Terry Mahoney at the training conference. Terry told him of the INTERNSHIP. The internship would train Rob to do his new duty in the court of the King. Rob tried for the spot as an INTERN and was accepted. He began on July 8, 2010. His life is now in the service of the King, telling the world of the Splendor of his Master.

Jessica Stepensky - Current Intern

Jessica joins Hillside as an intern in hopes of growing personally and spiritually and learning what it means to be a part of a bigger picture. She is passionate about absorbing information through form of books, documentaries, talk radio, social networking, and... smart people. She likes the idea of bicycle riding as a form of transportation, but doesn't like the way it makes her bottom feel. She does it anyway. Truthfully, her great, great, great uncle was the strongest man in the world. She wishes she was multilingual and roller coasters that spin give her motion sickness. Coming from a life of indecision where she changed her major from General to Photography to Fine Arts to Psychology to English/Literature back to photography, she thinks she may have found something in Missions. Learning to be a part of a family and to help the people who no one else seems to have time for is more comforting and fulfilling than anything she has yet experienced.
