Hillside Missions organizes short term
missions trips and trains short term missions teams for effective
ministry.
We primarily
focus
on unreached people groups in the 10/40 window. We are currently
focusing on unreached people groups in three closed countries.
Our short term trips are typically one to two weeks long and we
generally require a commitment of one meeting per week for three
months before
the trip for training and preparation.
With only one or two weeks, we may not have the opportunity to
ask great numbers of people to make the life changing decision
to follow
Christ, but great things happen when people are introduced to
Him for the first time.
We have been taking many short-term trips to Matachi, Chihuahua,
Mexico in support of the School of Missions Mobilization to be located
there. The school opened in March of 2007. This two-year
residential program trains and sends teams of
long-term missionaries to the unreached world. See the school's
website at www.matachi.org .
